We are a team based in Utah, USA, working with a nonprofit organization to provide refugees in the Kakuma Refugee Camp with meaningful income. Our goal is to give back to the camp in a way that empowers — not by handouts, but by helping individuals become self-reliant through creativity and hard work.

We collaborate with a team of refugees every day through digital messaging, Zoom, and online tools to help support their growth.

Our mission is to give refugees an opportunity to create the life they want to live while providing spiritual nourishment to people in our local community.

At Kakuma Art, each piece begins with inspiration and a spark of creativity. A team of refugee artists in the Kakuma Refugee Camp use Midjourney, an AI tool, to bring their perspective of Jesus Christ to life. These artists, many of whom have faced immense trials, channel their faith into sacred digital artwork that reflects their endurance, testimony, and hope.

Once created, their best pieces are sent to our team, who thoughtfully review and select the most meaningful images. We then prepare and list those pieces on our website, making them available for high-quality printing and global purchase. Every step — from creation to collection to customer — is part of a greater purpose: to share the light of Christ through the eyes of these refugees and to empower them by turning their spiritual expressions into blessings for homes around the world.
